Board of Directors
Frederick Krauss, President
Frederick Krauss has lived in the Richmond Virginia area for over 50 years. He is a graduate of Pacific Western University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He is a retired engineer with the Virginia Department of Transportation. With his wife Marie, they have been investing in real estate for over 20 years. They built a rental portfolio around long term rentals as well as flipping properties and providing private lending to investors. He serves on a number of boards including the King William Board of Equalization and various home owners associations. Fred coaches investors and has a monthly Landlord meetup. Working with other investors Fred was instrumental in the creation of the Virginia Real Estate Investors Alliance to provide investors a voice with local, state and federal legislators.
Olatokunbo Oni, Treasurer
Olatokunbo Oni is a seasoned real estate investor and broker with a wealth of experience in both residential and commercial sectors. In 2008, he founded Cr8tive Realty, a brokerage firm that has since become known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. His expertise and keen understanding of the real estate market have enabled him to successfully navigate and thrive in various economic climates, earning him a reputation as a reliable and strategic professional in the industry.
In 2019, Olatokunbo expanded his influence in the real estate community by establishing the Greater Richmond Real Estate Investors Association (REIA). This Non -profit organization serves as a platform for networking, education, and collaboration among real estate professionals in the Richmond area. Through Greater Richmond REIA, Olatokunbo has fostered a supportive environment for both new and experienced investors, providing valuable resources and insights to help them achieve their investment goals. His leadership and dedication to the growth and development of the real estate community continue to make a significant impact in the region.
Forrest McGhee
Forrest McGhee has been married to Adila McGhee since 2005 and is the founder and owner of CVA Homes LLC, a real estate investment company based in the Richmond, Virginia area, and a licensed realtor with eXp Realty LLC. A lifelong Virginia resident, Forrest holds a Class A Contractor license in Virginia and began his career in construction before transitioning into real estate investing. He also runs one of Richmond Virginia's premier real estate mastermind association groups. His background in both construction and real estate provides him with a comprehensive understanding of property evaluation, renovation costs, and market dynamics throughout the Richmond metropolitan area.
Through CVA Homes LLC, Forrest actively acquires investment properties throughout Virginia. His decades of experience operating under both Virginia's contractor licensing requirements and real estate regulations provides him with firsthand knowledge of how state legislation impacts investors at the ground level. As someone who has navigated Virginia's regulatory environment from multiple professional perspectives, he brings valuable insight into the practical effects of proposed legislation on the real estate investment community statewide.
Nate Dobbins
Nate Dobbins has been a full time investor for over (5) years. He currently has a heavy focus on commercial real estate investments in the greater Fredericksburg, VA region. He founded and facilitates the Fredericksburg Real Estate Investor meetup which meets monthly and averages 70 amazing investors in attendance. He is on the Board of Directors for the Fredericksburg Area Builders Association and is heavily involved in other networking organizations in the area. Nate also consults for The Riphean Group which is a Venture Capital firm focused on Merger and Acquisition work with Government Contracting companies with a National Security focus, Hospitality management through their (4) restaurants, and commercial real estate projects via acquisition and development. He enjoys helping business owners and investors succeed and spending time with his wife and (3) children.
Lindy Pond
Lindy specializes in providing the best possible service to all her customers and business partners. With over 20 years’ experience in the mortgage banking industry, she has the knowledge and experience to help match the right product/program to fit a client's situation. An active member of Virginia Mortgage Bankers Association Board, Lindy spends a lot of time with her industry partners in educating the mortgage community throughout the state.
In addition to her career, she has two great children and a beautiful farm where she spends time with family and friends.

Teresa Younger
Teresa earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California. She brings a unique blend of academic insight and real-world advocacy to her work. In her role as Executive Director she plays a pivotal role in strengthening the Alliance's efforts for policy education, internship access, and civic engagement.
Departed Board of Directors
In the spring of 2024, a group of real estate investors came together and realized that a voice was needed to address issues with local governments and the Virginia General Assembly pertaining to laws that were being passed that directly impacted our industry. In the fall of 2024 the Virginia Real Estate Investors Alliance was created. We are forever grateful to our outgoing Board Members for their long-term commitment and the lasting impact they’ve made.
